House of Vans
House of Vans started as an emblem on the first Vans Shoe box and grew into a concept of creating a space where anyone and everyone could experience a free programme of events spanning across music, Skateboarding, Art, Culture and Community.
After opening the first physical space in Brooklyn in 2010, the concept landed in Europe in 2012 and Black Sparrow jumped on board to become part of an epic decade long adventure. Following the brands first European pop up in Berlin in 2013, Black Sparrow were tasked to find a permanent venue within the region to offer the European market a unique, inclusive, community centric hub.
Since 2010, the brand now has 3 permanent spaces located in London, Chicago and Mexico.
Venue
In 2014, House of Vans opened its permanent location in London. The 32,000 sq ft grade II listed building under Waterloo station was renovated and transformed into a branded space complete with an Art Gallery, Cinema, 850 capacity Music Venue, 3 Bars a Café, a Skate Park consisting of a street course and Bowl.
